Le French Jam will be a showcase of French-themed music and entertainment presented in an informal cabaret style. The event is sponsored by the Alliance Française Omaha and Café et Conversation. Both of these groups promote appreciation and enjoyment of French culture and language.

Le French Jam will be a nod to the French cabaret form of intimate but informal theatrical entertainment that was popular in small Parisian bars, restaurants, nightclubs. It originated in 19th century France and featured a mix of music, song, dance and comedy presented while audiences were eating and drinking.

The performers in Le French Jam will be members of the Alliance Française Omaha and Café and Conversation. Admission to the event is free of charge, but reservations are requested at AFOMAHA.ORG. Food and drink at the event will be available for purchase from the Candlelight Bar’s standard menu.
