AFO is offering grants of $50 up to $1,000 to encourage local high school students of French to deepen their interest in the French language and Francophone cultures during the upcoming school year in the areas of Giving Back, Language Proficiency, and Cultural Enrichment. We’re here to help support impactful French learning experiences that will last a lifetime!

Application Deadline: October 15th

Eligibility Requirements

Must be 16 or older by October 15th of the current year.

• Have completed at least 2 years of high school French.

• Currently studying French at an Omaha area high school (or a school within a 25-mile radius of Omaha).

• Will be enrolled in French at the time of selection.

Note: Family and relatives of AFO board members, officers, contractors, or employees are NOT eligible to apply for a scholarship.
