Alliance Française Omaha has partnered with independent group Café et Conversation Midwest to bring Omaha and the Midwest’s francophones a French conversation event every week of the year!

C&C is a casual weekly meetup to practice/speak French. Whether you are a beginner, native speaker, or somewhere in between, C&C is the group for you! C&C meets at various locations in the Omaha area as well as Lincoln and Sioux City. Events are free to attend and all are welcome.

AFO will share C&C’s events on our website event calendar, but we also encourage you to join the C&C community via their email list, private Facebook group and website below.

We'll be meeting at 5:30pm on Thursday, July 2nd at Big Grove Brewery.

Start the holiday weekend with a bit of French. Join us at Big Grove Brewery. We have a table reserved on their huge outdoor patio with a backup plan inside if needed.

Big Grove sells their own in-house beer as well as mocktails and other non-alcoholic options. They also have a full dinner menu.

Metered parking is available on the street and in a garage.

When you arrive, look for C&C organizer Jerry Syslo. All levels of French proficiency welcome. We hope to see you there!
