Café et Conversation Midwest - Lincoln - Lancer de haches

  • Arbor Axe House 1821 N Street Lincoln, NE, 68508 (map)

Alliance Française Omaha has partnered with independent group Café et Conversation Midwest to bring Omaha and the Midwest’s francophones a French conversation event every week of the year!

C&C is a casual weekly meetup to practice/speak French. Whether you are a beginner, native speaker, or somewhere in between, C&C is the group for you! C&C meets at various locations in the Omaha area as well as Lincoln and Sioux City. Events are free to attend and all are welcome.

AFO will share C&C’s events on our website event calendar, but we also encourage you to join the C&C community via their email list, private Facebook group and website below.

OÙ ET QUAND?

We'll be meeting at 12:30pm on Sunday, November 9th at Arbor Axe House in Lincoln.

What's better than gathering to speak French? Throwing axes at the same time! The cost of axe throwing will depend on the size of our group ($19-$22). We will reserve a lane or two for one hour. Arbor Axe House has a small parking lot and a bar. At 2pm, we will head across the street to Saro Cider for a drink and continued French conversation! Join us for one or both!

Please RSVP by emailing Sara Parkening at esparken@gmail.com or messaging her directly on Facebook.

When you arrive, look for C&C Lincoln organizer Sara Parkening. All levels of French proficiency welcome!
