Alliance Française Omaha has partnered with independent group Café et Conversation Midwest to bring Omaha and the Midwest’s francophones a French conversation event every week of the year!
C&C is a casual weekly meetup to practice/speak French. Whether you are a beginner, native speaker, or somewhere in between, C&C is the group for you! C&C meets at various locations in the Omaha area as well as Lincoln and Sioux City. Events are free to attend and all are welcome.
AFO will share C&C’s events on our website event calendar, but we also encourage you to join the C&C community via their email list, private Facebook group and website below.
OÙ ET QUAND?
We'll be meeting at 5:30pm on Wednesday, November 5th at Site-1 Brewing.
It's been a while, but for our first November event, C&C will return to Site-1 Brewing on Farnam Street! Site-1 has an extensive beer menu along with craft cocktails. Since the last time we met there, they have significantly expanded their food options and now offer Detroit style pizza as well as sandwiches and salads. Happy hour ends at 6pm, so get there before then if you want to take advantage.
Parking can be found in a free lot across the street on 26th and Farnam as well as on Farnam (metered).
When you arrive, look for C&C organizer Alicia Jaunty. Let us know that you’re coming by RSVPing below. All levels of French proficiency welcome. We hope to see you there!
