Jules Verne Workshop - Atelier, on Zoom
DESCRIPTION: In this three-week class, we will read and discuss a novel by this well-known French author. Each week, students will have a reading assignment of roughly 20 pages accompanied by a few comprehension activities. These exercises will prompt our class discussions, though conversations will not be limited to the written assignments. The text has been adapted for students at the A2 level and is accessible to our students who are at the third or intermediate level. Instruction will be primarily in French, with occasional clarifications offered in English, if necessary. Students must register by August 5 in order to receive the assignment for the first class.
