Alliance Française Omaha has partnered with independent group Café et Conversation Midwest to bring Omaha and the Midwest’s francophones a French conversation event every week of the year!
C&C is a casual weekly meetup to practice/speak French. Whether you are a beginner, native speaker, or somewhere in between, C&C is the group for you! C&C meets at various locations in the Omaha area as well as Lincoln and Sioux City. Events are free to attend and all are welcome.
AFO will share C&C’s events on our website event calendar, but we also encourage you to join the C&C community via their email list, private Facebook group and website below.
OÙ ET QUAND?
We'll be meeting at 5:30pm on Thursday, September 3rd at Sonny’s in the Builders District.
Come and check out the new Sonny’s in the rapidly changing Builders District in north downtown. This Sonny’s location just opened this summer and it’s the first time we’re meeting there.
Practice your French with expansive views of the skyline and selections from Sonny’s drinks menu. Coffee and food are not available. You will find plenty of street parking in the area, mostly metered.
It’s a great opportunity to connect with others who are interested in La Belle Langue.
When you arrive, look for C&C organizer Jerry Syslo. All levels of French proficiency welcome. We hope to see you there!
