Alliance Française Omaha has partnered with independent group Café et Conversation Midwest to bring Omaha and the Midwest’s francophones a French conversation event every week of the year!

C&C is a casual weekly meetup to practice/speak French. Whether you are a beginner, native speaker, or somewhere in between, C&C is the group for you! C&C meets at various locations in the Omaha area as well as Lincoln and Sioux City. Events are free to attend and all are welcome.

AFO will share C&C’s events on our website event calendar, but we also encourage you to join the C&C community via their email list, private Facebook group and website below.

We'll be meeting at 2:00pm on Saturday, September 20th at Duck Duck Bottle Shop in Dundee.

Duck Duck Bottle Shop is a new venue in Dundee that we first visited in June. They serve wine, beer, cocktails, coffee, tea and a limited food menu. Their bar is located outside in the backyard of the house at the listed address.

In the case of inclement weather, we will meet inside at another venue. We will post on all websites and send out an email in the event that we have to meet elsewhere.

When you arrive, look for C&C organizer Alicia Jaunty. All levels of French proficiency welcome. We hope to see you there!
