Café et Conversation Midwest - Apéro with Charlie Whitesides from Street French

  • Fariner Bakery 120 North 14th Street Ashland, NE, 68003 (map)

Alliance Française Omaha has partnered with independent group Café et Conversation Midwest to bring Omaha and the Midwest’s francophones a French conversation event every week of the year!

C&C is a casual weekly meetup to practice/speak French. Whether you are a beginner, native speaker, or somewhere in between, C&C is the group for you! C&C meets at various locations in the Omaha area as well as Lincoln and Sioux City. Events are free to attend and all are welcome.

AFO will share C&C’s events on our website event calendar, but we also encourage you to join the C&C community via their email list, private Facebook group and website below.

OÙ ET QUAND?

We'll be meeting at 6:00pm on Friday, February 20th at Fariner Bakery in Ashland.

Please join us for a very special reunion as Café et Conversation Midwest welcomes back Charlie Whitesides, founder of the popular YouTube channel, StreetFrench.org! If you’ve watched any of Charlie’s videos, then you know he loves to help French learners to speak French the way it’s meant to be spoken.

The original inspiration for the founding of Café et Conversation Midwest, Charlie will be coming in from Paris to join us for a unique opportunity to practice French with one of the best there is! Did we mention that he LOVES Nebraska?

We hope you can come and welcome Charlie for apéro and pizza night at one of our favorite gathering spots, Fariner!

When you arrive, look for C&C Lincoln organizer Sara Parkening. All levels of French proficiency welcome. We hope to see you there!
