Alliance Française Omaha has partnered with independent group Café et Conversation Midwest to bring Omaha and the Midwest’s francophones a French conversation event every week of the year!
C&C is a casual weekly meetup to practice/speak French. Whether you are a beginner, native speaker, or somewhere in between, C&C is the group for you! C&C meets at various locations in the Omaha area as well as Lincoln and Sioux City. Events are free to attend and all are welcome.
AFO will share C&C’s events on our website event calendar, but we also encourage you to join the C&C community via their email list, private Facebook group and website below.
OÙ ET QUAND?
We'll be meeting at 5:30pm on Friday, October 16th at PACE in Council Bluffs.
After a couple years, C&C will return to one of our previous gathering spots, Pottawattamie Arts Culture Entertainment (PACE) in Council Bluffs. PACE has a full bar. They don't sell food, but you can order delivery from nearby restaurants. Their art galleries are open on Friday evenings if anyone is interested in having a look around.
Parking is plentiful in the lots next to the building as well as on the street.
When you arrive, look for C&C head organizer Alicia Jaunty. We hope to see you there!
