Alliance Française Omaha has partnered with independent group Café et Conversation Midwest to bring Omaha and the Midwest’s francophones a French conversation event every week of the year!
C&C is a casual weekly meetup to practice/speak French. Whether you are a beginner, native speaker, or somewhere in between, C&C is the group for you! C&C meets at various locations in the Omaha area as well as Lincoln and Sioux City. Events are free to attend and all are welcome.
AFO will share C&C’s events on our website event calendar, but we also encourage you to join the C&C community via their email list, private Facebook group and website below.
OÙ ET QUAND?
We'll be meeting at 5:30pm on Wednesday, May 21st at the Bin 105 Quality Wines in the Haymarket in Lincoln.
Bin105 is a favorite meeting place for our C&C Lincoln Events. Come enjoy an evening of casual French conversation.
Sample many wines from their wine machine using a wine card (pay by the pour) or use the same card to pour yourself a more generous glass. Small appetizers will able be available for purchase.
Parking can be a bit tricky down in the Haymarket, however there are paid parking garages in the vicinity as well as metered street spots.
When you arrive, look for C&C Lincoln organizer Sara Parkening. All levels of French proficiency welcome!
