Alliance Française Omaha has partnered with independent group Café et Conversation Midwest to bring Omaha and the Midwest’s francophones a French conversation event every week of the year!

C&C is a casual weekly meetup to practice/speak French. Whether you are a beginner, native speaker, or somewhere in between, C&C is the group for you! C&C meets at various locations in the Omaha area as well as Lincoln and Sioux City. Events are free to attend and all are welcome.

AFO will share C&C’s events on our website event calendar, but we also encourage you to join the C&C community via their email list and private Facebook group below.

Join us for a relaxed and welcoming French conversation meetup at the Durham Café at the Joslyn Art Museum on Sunday, May 18th! Whether you're just starting out or you’ve been speaking French for years, this is a judgement-free space for all levels to practice, connect, and enjoy good company.

No formal structure, no pressure—just great conversation in French over coffee, food, or your favorite beverage (available for purchase at the café).

Bring a friend or come solo. C’est ouvert à tous !
