Alliance Française Omaha has partnered with independent group Café et Conversation Midwest to bring Omaha and the Midwest’s francophones a French conversation event every week of the year!

C&C is a casual weekly meetup to practice/speak French. Whether you are a beginner, native speaker, or somewhere in between, C&C is the group for you! C&C meets at various locations in the Omaha area as well as Lincoln and Sioux City. Events are free to attend and all are welcome.

AFO will share C&C’s events on our website event calendar, but we also encourage you to join the C&C community via their email list, private Facebook group and website below.

OÙ ET QUAND?

We'll be meeting at 2:30pm on Saturday, January 10th at The Ross Theatre in Lincoln.

We will meet at the Ross Theatre for the French film: Nouvelle Vague. The film’s start time is 2:45pm.

After the movie, we will grab drinks at Barrymore’s (124 North 13th Street). They open at 5pm. Feel free to join for the movie only, drinks only or both!

When you arrive, look for C&C Lincoln organizer Sara Parkening. All levels of French proficiency welcome!
