AFO Scholarship Luncheon ( French-inspired menu, on 7 February)
De quoi s’agit-il? A French inspired luncheon created by the chefs at MCC’s Culinary Arts Institute in recognition of the 2026 Bernie Duhaime Student Scholarship awardees and also the recipients of the Teacher Resource grant program.
Conférencier invité : Our guest speaker will be Chef Brian O’Malley, Dean of Culinary, Hospitality, and Horticulture. His presentation will focus on the French influences on MCC’s culinary curriculum and overall western cuisine. Following the presentation, there will time for Q & A with the Chef, and opportunity to take a tour of the Culinary Arts Institute facilities. Le Prix : $35 AFO members, $40 non-Members.
Où et quand? Swanson Conference Center, Institute for Culinary Arts on the north Omaha campus of Metropolitan Community College at 5370 N. 30th St. Bldg 22 in Omaha on Saturday February 7 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
