DESCRIPTION: The class will read and discuss one of the most famous mystery novels featuring Inspector Maigret, Le Chien Jaune. Written by Georges Simenon and published in 1931, the book is a tour de force offering a complex plot, memorable characters, and an immersion in the Paris of the 1920s. Page references in class will be given to the Livre de Poche edition, although any edition can be used. We recommend that you order your copy right away; please read the first two chapters before the first class on 6 January 2026. Please register by December 30. Maximum 10 students.
