DESCRIPTION: In this 10-week conversation class, our more advanced learnersstart with Dossier 4, Lesson 18 in Totem 3. They learn vocabulary for discussing more complex issues related to families, housing, advertising, and health and fitness. Various expressions useful for expressing or modulating opinions and feelings are practiced, and the passé simple and passive are introduced. The cultural content ranges from epistolary texts of two authors to a brief history of the bikini. Maximum 10 students per class.
