Jean Hanson
Database Chair
Jean Hanson has worked in both the non-profit and for-profit worlds as an accountant. She graduated from Creighton University with a B.S.B.A. in Accounting and also earned her M.B.A. from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Jean and her husband, Joel, have two children – Chris and Cybill – and spend their free time traveling, camping, fishing, and boating. They also spend their time cleaning up after their dogs, Lucy and Ethel, and cats, Oliver and Penelope. Which is to say that when you allow your teenager to volunteer at the Nebraska Humane Society, your teenager might often come home with a pet that needs saving.
The French language has always been fascinating to Jean. Having grown up on a small Nebraska farm, she often dreamed of traveling the world and learning other languages. She truly appreciates the friendships she’s made at AFO and is grateful to everyone who takes the time to assist her in learning the language.

De plus, lorsque votre adolescent fait du bénévolat à la Nebraska Humane Society, il peut souvent rentrer à la maison avec un animal de compagnie qui a besoin d'être sauvé.
La langue française a toujours fasciné Jean. Elle a grandi sur une petite ferme du Nebraska et rêvait de parcourir le monde en apprenant d'autres langues. Jean apprécie les amitiés qu’elle a nouées à l’AFO et la patience de tous ceux qui l'aident à apprendre la langue.
