Alliance Française Omaha has partnered with independent group Café et Conversation Midwest to bring Omaha and the Midwest’s francophones a French conversation event every week of the year!
C&C is a casual weekly meetup to practice/speak French. Whether you are a beginner, native speaker, or somewhere in between, C&C is the group for you! C&C meets at various locations in the Omaha area as well as Lincoln and Sioux City. Events are free to attend and all are welcome.
AFO will share C&C’s events on our website event calendar, but we also encourage you to join the C&C community via their email list and private Facebook group below.
OÙ ET QUAND?
Join us for a fun and relaxed language exchange perfect for early learners of French! Whether you're just starting out or looking to refresh your skills, this event is designed to help you practice French in a friendly, low-pressure environment.
We'll focus on informal speaking with a mix of conversation and interactive activities, including games, that make speaking easy and fun! Don't worry if you're still getting the hang of things – this is all about building confidence and having a great time while learning.
Advanced speakers are more than welcome to join and lend a hand, but this event is all about helping speakers of all levels feel comfortable and confident. Grab your coffee, a wine, or whatever sounds good. Come ready to chat, and let's practice French together!
We'll be meeting at 1:30pm on February 15th at Corkscrew Wine & Cheese in Rockbrook. When you arrive, look for C&C Back to Basics organizers Dennis Vaughn and Ryan Foehlinger. Let us know that you’re coming by RSVPing below. Hope to see you there!
