Looking to improve your French work-related vocabulary? Want to understand the dos and don’ts of communicating in the French workplace? This workshop is for you. You’ll learn commonly used terminology while conducting business in France and how to navigate a job interview. Participants in this workshop will
review workplace vocabulary in the context of cultural difference and actively engage in CV preparation and interview practice. The workshop is best suited for intermediate learners, but all are welcome to attend.
This Lunch & Learn Workshop will take place at noon on Friday, May 10th, at the Kaneko-UNO Library.
Meet Instructor Beth McCartney
Beth McCartney is the director of the Defense Language Institute branch in Bellevue. Prior to moving to Omaha in 2015, she taught French at DLI-Monterey for six years. Beth lived and worked in Paris and Grenoble for three years while completing her Ph.D. in French at the University of Pennsylvania.
