Désir de Lire - le club littéraire de l'AFO

  • Our Bookstore 1030 Howard Street Omaha, NE, 68102 United States (map)

Cher lecteurs,

We are taking a break in the months of July and August, and will resume on Sunday, September 30th at 4pm at UNO’s Criss Library in the Theater Room. The September 30th discussion will be on Ma vie et mes films by Jean Renoir.

The October discussion will be on Annie Ernaux’s 75-page book Passion simple. The exact October date will be announced later.

As Juliette Parnell informed us, coincidentally, there is a current special exhibit on Jean Renoir and his father’s work at the Barnes foundation in Philadelphia. You can see more about this at https://www.barnesfoundation.org

Remember: the book club is for members only, and all members are very welcome.

Bonne lecture!

Bonnes vacances et passe un bel été!

As always, we thank Juliette Parnell for being our animatrice and we thank Our Bookstore which is owned by AFO members Vera and Mark Mercer and operated by Mark’s mother and AFO member, Agnes Clark.
