French Masterpieces at The Holland

The AFO in collaboration with the Omaha Symphony features:  

PROGRAMME:         Jacques Lacombe, Conductor

                                 Édouard Lalo’s Overture to Le roi d’Ys

                                 Maurice Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G Major

                                 César Franck’s Symphony in D Minor

The dynamic music director of the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra guest conducts a concert of French music, including Franck’s spirited symphony and Ravel’s jazz-age concerto at the Holland Performing Arts Center.  AFO members receive a special discounted evening - please consider joining us!

We will all meet at the cocktail lounge in the lobby of the Holland Center for a nice social hour and glass of cheer. Then we will sit down for the pre-concert talk and learn about these three masterpieces and their French composers, after which we will enter the acoustically-perfect concert hall — où nous serons enchantés par l’exquise musique!

Purchase tickets through the Omaha Symphony (not directly through AFO).
Please purchase tickets in advance by either going online through TicketOmaha.com, or call 402-345-0606, or in person at the Holland Performing Arts Center’s Box Office.  Use the code “ALLIANCE” for a 20% discount for the French Masterpieces concerts for both February 19 and 20, however, our AFO February Event will take place only on Saturday the 20th.
