Fondation Alliance Française

The Alliance Française was created in Paris in 1883 and is the leading cultural network worldwide, with 850 chapters in 136 countries on all five continents. It is a non-profit organization with no political or religious ties.  The Federation of Alliances Françaises USA serves as a bridge between the Alliances in the United States and the Fondation Alliance Française in Paris.  In Omaha, our chapter fosters the historical friendship between the United States and France; and the sustained mission we share: to support French language and French speaking cultures as they are practiced around the globe.
